Compassionate Veterinary Staff

Jolene Beebe, Clinic Manager and RN

As our Clinic Manager, Jolene combines her nursing skills with her past experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Jolene and her husband (Dr. Terry Beebe) live in Platteville WI. Life gets crazy as they try to keep up with sons Tanner & Jared, and daughter Taylor. They are active at Community Evangelical Free Church and raise English Shepherd puppies.
Jolene completed her Associates degree in Nursing at Northeast IA Community College in 1995. She has worked as an OR Circulating, Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother-Baby, and Pediatric Nurse.

Ellie, Client Service Representative

Ellie joined our team in June 2021.

Georgia, Client Service Representative

Georgia Nitsos joined our team in June of 2022. She comes to our clinic with an extensive background in pharmacy, serving as a Senior Pharmaceutical Technician in Dubuque, Iowa.

She has a deep passion for both the pets and the pet parents. She is a cat mom of 10 and the loving mommy to her favorite senior puppy, Chloe. Chloe dances with Georgia anytime a song comes on! Georgia enjoys serving others and loving on all the animals while they’re with us!

Georgia is the proud Mother of three sons, Christopher, Seth and Braxten. Her, and the love of her life, Steve enjoy a quiet life at home and believe they are the most loyal Green Bay Packers to have ever lived!

Danielle, CVT

Danielle became a CVT in 2011. She worked for Galena Square Vet Clinic when Dr. Beebe purchased the clinic. She had moved to central Illinois in 2015 to be with her husband. She continued to work as a CVT while there. She has moved back with her family in Scales Mound and rejoined the Family Pet Hospital team in March of 2022. Danielle and her husband share their house with their young boy/girl twins and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys baking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Kelsi, Certified Veterinary Assistant

Kelsi completed her education through Penn Foster College for her Veterinary Assistant degree and is currently working on her Veterinary Technician degree. She started working for Galena Square Veterinary Clinic as an intern and has continued with us. She likes the hands on aspects of veterinary medicine the best and working directly with patients.

She lives in the country with her two children, Weston and Kinzley. Kelsi and her family share their lives with a variety of animals. In her downtime, Kelsi enjoys spending time with her human and furry family members.

Claudia, Veterinary Assistant

Claudia joined Family Pet Hospital in September 2021. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin-Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis and a minor in Spanish. She grew up outside of Platteville helping her dad run the family farm and showing rabbits at the county fair. She has always had a passion for animals and science, which lead her to be on the path she’s on. Her end goal is to become a bilingual small animal veterinarian. Currently, she has adapted a dog and cat named Millie and Taigh. Millie is pictured.

Camden, Veterinary Assistant

Camden joined in June 2022. She is currently studying at University of Wisconsin –Platteville to complete her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She is then going to further her education at Madison Area Technical college to obtain her Veterinary Technician Degree to fulfill her dream to become a CVT.

She has always had a passion for working with animals since she was a young girl. She owns three cats that she has rescued and nursed back to life. Camden also has a family dog named Marvin and has 2 dogs of her own dog, Diesel and Benelli.

Leonard, Clinic Cat Extraordinaire

Leonard Square has been dutifully performing the job of “clinic cat” since spring of 2012. He is a friendly fellow, often interested in investigating our canine and feline patients alike. He may pester you into petting him if you happen to be at the front desk, but don’t feel slighted if you miss him – one of his favorite pastimes is letting himself into the cabinet for a nap among the blankets.
